Create and design the landing page
Set up the landing page
1. Go to Tools and click Landing pages.
2. Click Create landing page.
3. Select the template that is close to what you want to create.
4. Enter the site name and click Next step
Add content to the landing page
1. Add elements and blocks from the menu on the side.
2. Add your logo
3. Customize the buttons and forms.
4. Edit the header and footer
5. Once you are done adding content to the landing page, go to the success page.
Edit the success page and set up cookies
1. As aforementioned, this is the page your audience will be redirected to once they take the desired action. You can thank them for taking the action and tell them their next steps.
2. When you finish designing the page, click on the gear Icon at the upper right corner of the page.
3. Turn on Cookies Notifaction to get consent on how you use cookies.
4. Add a Favicon to your landing page.
5. Click Ok once you are done.
6. Click on the Phone Icon to see and edit the phone layout
7. Preview the landing page to proofread and check for any design or spelling errors.
8. If everything looks good, click Next step
Configure landing page settings
Set up SEO settings
1. Enter a page title. The title will appear as the title in the search results or social media posts.
2. Add a description; this will appear as the description in the search results.
Add a domain
1. Now, you must add a domain for your landing page. If you don’t have a domain, you can use one of Getresponse’s subdomains.
2. If you have a domain and you have already added it in Getrespone, you can simply choose it from the list.
3. If you have not assigned your domain to your Getresponse account yet, click on Add a new domain and assign your domain.
Configure subscription settings
1. Choose a list where you want to put the new subscribers through the landing page.
2. Set up Day of cycle if you are using autoresponders
3. Choose a thank you page option. If you want to redirect your audience to a custom page, select Custom thank-you page and enter the URL in the Custom URL field.
Set up additional settings
1. To track your performance and get insights into the performance of your landing pages, set up Analytics & Remarketing with one of the platforms on the list.
2. If you wish to advertise your landing page with Google Ads, you can track your Google Ads conversions by settings up Google Ads conversion tracking.
3. Once you are done setting up the landing page settings, click Publish
