Set up a form
(a) To create a popup form, go to Sign-up forms
(b) Filter the themes by Popup
(c) Select the theme you like
- Enter a Name for the form
- Choose the list to which you want to put the subscribers from this form to
(d) Click Create form
Design the form
(a) Change the layout of the form by going to Styles
- You will be able to change the layout of the images, the type of the form, colors, and fonts.
(b) If necessary, you can add additional text and images by going to Add blocks
(c) In Targeting & behavior, you can set up the timing of the form, which is the most important part of popups.
You want it to appear when your potential customers are ready and interested in buying.
If a visitor is about to leave, give them reasons to stay with an exit intent popup.
(d) Go to Show based on rules
- Select Show (5) seconds after page load
(e) Select Show when visitor is exiting the page to draw lost customers back to your store
(f) Once you finished designing and configuring the trigger, click Success
- The Success page is the page that will be shown once your customer successfully subscribes through the form.
- Design the success page and click Publish
