How to create and send an email campaign with MailerLite
An email campaign is a message you send to your contacts to inform your subscribers about the latest events, sales, your latest posts, etc.
MailerLite offers a powerful yet user-friendly email editor, which makes it a breeze to create and send your first newsletter.
However, the process can still get complicated if you are new to email marketing.
So we decided to make this tutorial and guide you on how to create and send your first email campaign with MailerLite.

How to create an email campaign
Set up the campaign
1. Go to Campaigns
2. Click Create
3. Enter a campaign name
4. Choose a campaign type
- If you just want to send a single email or a newsletter, select Regular campaign

1. Enter a Subject line
This single line can often determine if your email will be opened or sent directly to the trash
2. Enter the Sender’s name and email address if you haven’t already set up default settings
3. Select a tracking option
You can choose to track your campaign with an invisible beacon or by adding UTM tags to your URLs.
4. Choose a language
5. Click Next: Content
How to design the email campaign
Choose an email editor
1. Choose the Drag & Drop editor
Add content
After choosing an email editor, you will be taken to the email editor page.
1. You can add blocks from the left sidebar
2. To edit a block, hover over the block and click on the pen icon.
3. You can configure settings, change fonts, and colors in the right sidebar
Preview and send a test email
You can preview the design and proofread for any spelling or grammar errors.
1. To preview the email, click preview and test
2. Click Preview mode
3. If you are satisfied with the layout of your email on both desktop and mobile, You can send a test email to preview what the email looks like in your subscriber’s inbox. To do so, click Preview and test>>Send a test email.
4. Enter the email address you want the campaign sent out to.
5. Click Send test
6. If everything looks Ok, click Done editing
How to Send or schedule your email campaign
Select recipients
To send your campaign, you must first select your recipients.
1. If you want to send the campaign to all your subscribers, select All active subscribers.
2. To send the campaign to a classified group, select the group or the segment.
3. To exclude a group by tags or segments, click Exclude segment or Exclude group
4. Once you select the recipients for the email campaign, click Next: Review
Review and confirm
1. Review the sender’s information, the content, tracking settings, and recipients and ensure that everything is correct
2. If everything is correct, click Next: Schedule
Send or schedule your campaign
1. To send the campaign immediately, select Send Now
2. To schedule your campaign for a specific time and a specific time zone, select Send later and configure the Date, Time and Time zone.
3. To schedule the campaign for a selected time in all time zones, select Deliver based on timezones and configure the Date and Time.
4. Once you have set up time and date, click Schedule
