How to create an email campaign with Getresponse

Create an email campaign


Set up the campaign


1. Go to Email marketing

2. Click Create newsletter

3. You can choose to create the email by yourself or let AI generate one for you by entering some keywords. To create one yourself, select By myself

Enter basic details about the campaign


1. Enter a name for the campaign

2. Add “from” information if you already haven’t set up the default sender’s information.

3. Write a Subject line and a preview text.

  • These lines can often determine whether an email is opened or sent straight to the trash.

4. Choose your recipients for the email campaign. You can specify your audience with lists and segments.

Add content and design the email

1. To edit and add content to the email, click Design message.

2. Preview and select an email template close to what you have in mind.

3. To add blocks, use drag and drop to place the blocks anywhere in the message.

4. If you have created a predefined text, you can add it to the email by adding a text element in the email and in the text editor menu, choosing the predefined text from the personalization menu.

4. You can add a product box or a promo code in the email if you are selling a product.

5. If you want to add multiple blocks in the same area and keep the layout organized, you can use sections.

6. You can also include your social profiles, which gives you an opportunity to connect better with your subscribers.

Design the email message


1. Go to message style to edit the width, background colors, header, and footer.

2. Click on any image, including the logo, to replace or edit the settings of the image.

3. Click on the buttons to change the links, colors, style, etc.

4. Once you are done designing the email, Preview and send a test email to check and proofread for any errors and to see what the email looks like in your customer’s inboxes.

5. You can also Spam check the email to make sure your email reaches your recipient’s inboxes.

6. If everything looks OK, click Next.

Send or schedule your campaign

1. To send your email campaign immediately, choose Send immediately.

2. Click Send message.
