How to create an email campaign with AWeber
Are you looking for a tutorial on how to create an email campaign(broadcast) with AWeber? Then you’ve to come to the right place!
A broadcast is a message(series of messages) you send to your contacts to achieve a specific goal.
And With Aweber, you can easily create engaging and responsive emails thanks to their fast and user-friendly email editor.
But we know that creating an email campaign can be an intimidating thought.
So we decided to create this tutorial and walk you though how to create your first email campaign with AWeber.

Create and design a broadcast
Set up a broadcast
1. Click Messages and go to Broadcasts.
2. Choose Drag and drop Email Builder.
3. Click Templates from the Message settings.
4. If you have already created a template, go to my templates, select the template you created, and click Apply.
5. If you have not created a template, create one (instructions) or choose a template from the template gallery.
Navigate email editor tools
1. On the left side, you have a menu from which you can drag and drop blocks and elements to the email.
2. On the right side, you have the settings bar. There, you can configure settings for the selected rows and elements.
3. If no element is selected, then you can edit the message settings, message preheader, and templates.
4. When you click on a text, a text toolbar pops up. There you can edit text color, type, alignment, etc.
5. At the top left corner of the page, you can insert and personalize the subject line.
Add content and design the broadcast
1. Add a strong subject line. It should capture your recipient’s attention so they want to open your email and continue reading.
2. Customize the pre-header to provide an inside look into what your recipients are about to read in your message.
3. Add your logo, a link to your website, and links to your social media to keep your emails on-brand. You can also use a tone that complements your other content on your website or social media.
4. Keep the paragraphs short and incorporate engaging images, videos, animation, etc.
Once you have added content and designed the email, it’s time to preview and send the email.
Preview and share your broadcast
Preview and test your email
1. Click Preview & Test to check for spelling and design errors.
2. Switch the toggle to get a mobile preview.
3. Send a test message to your own email address to see what the email looks like in the inbox of your recipients.
4. If everything looks alright, click Save and Exit.
Send or schedule your broadcast
1. Click Schedule next to the created broadcast.
2. Decide if you want to post the broadcast to your social media.
3. Choose the recipients for the broadcast.
4. If you want to send the broadcast immediately, leave the When settings as it is and click Send Message Now.
5. If you want to schedule the email, click Edit, choose a timezone, a send time, and a date, and click Apply.
6. Click Schedule Message for (your scheduled time).
