How to create an email campaign with Constant Contact
An email campaign is a singular email you send to your subscribers to share news, your recent content, products, etc.
With Constant Contact, you can create beautiful emails with no effort, thanks to its user-friendly layout.
But the process can get a bit overwhelming especially if you are new to email marketing, so we decided to create this tutorial and guide you on how to create an email campaign with Constant Contact.

How to Create a campaign
(a) To create a campaign, go to Campaigns
(b) Click Create
(c) Choose a campaign type.
- If you wish to send a single email to your contacts, select Email
(d) Choose a template or start from scratch
- Hover over the template, preview the template, and if you like it, click Select
(e) Click Email Settings
- Enter a Subject line
- Enter a Preheader
- Enter a From a name
- If you have not added a default From email address and a business address, you will need to add them now.
Add content to your email campaign
Once you have set up the Email settings, you can now design and add content to your email campaign
In the left-side menu, you have three tabs.
(a) Click Build to add content
(b) In the middle tab, you can see all your Images
(c) In the third one, you can design the layout of your campaign
Preview and test
You can preview the design and proofread for any spelling or grammar errors.
You can also test the email, which allows you to preview what the email looks like for your subscribers.
(a) To preview the email, click Preview and Test
(b) Select Preview
- You can Preview for both desktop and mobile
(c) To send a test email, close the Preview and select Send Test
(d) Enter the email address you wish to send the campaign to. You can add up to 5 email addresses.
- You can also Enter a personal note if you choose to send it to a team member
(e) Click Send Now to send the Test campaign
(f) When you have reviewed and revised the errors, click Continue
Send or schedule your campaign
Before sending your campaign, you must specify your recipients.
(a) Select the list to which you want to send the campaign.
(b) Click Send Now to send the email immediately
(c) If you want to schedule the campaign, Select Schedule for later(only available for paid plans)
(d) Select a Date and a Time
(e) Click Schedule for later
