With Aweber, you can create a professional-looking landing page thanks to their intuitive and fast site editor.
However, it can be a scary thought to create a landing page, especially if you are not a techy.
So we decided to create this tutorial and guide you on how to create a landing page with Aweber.

Create and design the landing page

Set up the landing page
1. Click Pages & Forms and go to Landing Pages.

2. Click Create a Landing Page.

3. Filter the template category to see relevant templates for your business and goals.

4. Preview and choose a template


Navigate site builder tools
1. On the left side, you have a menu from which you can drag and drop blocks and elements to the landing page.

2. On the right side, you have the settings bar for elements. There, you can configure settings for the selected element.


3. If no element is selected, then you can edit the page settings.

4. When you click on a text, a text toolbar pops up. There you can edit text color, type, alignment, etc.


Add elements and design the landing page
1. Add your logo

2. Add a title and customize the submit button and links.

3. Add a photo to create engagement.

4. Give your prospects reasons they should take action.

5. Add social links and customize the footer to make the design on-brand.

6. Go to page settings and add your brand colors and fonts.


Edit landing page settings

Change the Landing page URL
1. unselect the Rows and go to page settings.

2. Click Landing Page URL and select Custom Domain.

3. If you have already added a default domain, the domain will be selected automatically, and if not, click Connect a new Custom Domain and add your domain. (Instructions)


Set up social sharing and SEO settings
1. Click Social Sharing. Here, you can change the appearance of the landing page on social posts and search engines like Google.

2. Enter a page title. The title should stick to 60-70 characters and be specific.

3. Add a description. Attain 158 characters and no longer on desktop and 120 characters on mobile.

4. Upload an image to add a thumbnail to the landing page.


Set up tracking settings
1. Click Tracking, and there, you can set up analytics to track the performance of your landing page.

2. To set up Google Analytics, enter your Google Analytics ID in the field. (instructions)

3. To set up Facebook Pixel, Add your Facebook Pixel ID in the field. (instructions)

You have now designed, added content, and set up the landing page settings. It’s time to publish the landing page.

Preview and publish the landing page
1. It is recommended to preview everything you publish. It gives you a chance to proofread and check for errors. To preview the landing page, click Preview at the top right corner of the page.

2. Switch the toggle to get a mobile preview.

3. If everything looks OK, click Save & Exit.

4. Click on publish button or the vertical ellipsis (three dots) right to the landing page and click Publish.
